Argentine passengers over 18 years old
They must show their tickets and a document that proves their identity (ID/Passport). It is not valid as a document the ID without the compulsory updating at 8 years old.

Traveling Within Argentina (National Service):
Article 4 of Resolution 76 – E/2016 of the Ministry of Transportation states that all passengers “must carry a national identification document or a passport, for the purpose of verifying their identity for use of the transport service.” This document “must match the document shown at the moment the ticket was purchased, and the passenger must keep it on hand for the full duration of the trip.” It is the passenger’s responsibility to ensure that the document is in good condition.
International Travel (International Service):
The passenger must carry a national identity card or a passport.
The green ID booklet is not valid for entry into Chile and Peru.
To enter Chile or Peru with a minor, you must have the child’s national identity card as well as a valid certified birth certificate, always when travelling with both parents.
If your travel visa has expired, it must be renewed with the Migrations Department before a ticket is purchased.
Foreigners
Passengers from Chile, Brazil, Uruguay y Parguay: ID card or updated passport and tourist VISA.
Passengers from Peru, Bolivia, Colombia y Ecuador: ID card or updated passport, tourist VISA and vaccination certificate against yellow fever (in case of having been in the last 90 days in such countries).
Passengers from EE.UU., Canada and Mexico: updated passport, tourist VISA and consular VISA from Brazil.
Passengers from Europe: updated passport and tourist VISA.
