New regulation for the transfer of minors in long distance buses
With the aim of reducing the vulnerability of minors as possible victims of trafficking networks or attempted abductions, the Ministry of Transportation of the Nation and the CNRT implemented a new regulation (Resolution SGT 43/2016 and Resolution CNRT 1025/2016 ) that regulates travel authorizations for minors who move in the interjurisdictional transport of passengers.
What does the new regulation establish?
-Children between 6 years old and 12 years old can travel with a legal representative or an authorized third person older than 18 years old.
-Those who are between 13 and 17 years old can travel accompanied or alone, with the required authorizations.

How are travel authorizations processed?
Authorizations can be processed in two ways:
PRESENTIAL: They can be done onsite at the ticket offices of companies, completing the form that exists for this purpose. The form can be downloaded here. (Trips within the Argentine section)
PRIOR: Authorization may be made through: Notaries, competent Judge, competent authority of the Civil Registry and Capacity of Persons, Justice of the Peace and other Administrative and Judicial Authorities. ( International trips)
(*) If you make the Authorization in person you do not need any other type of authorization than the form on this page.
What documentation is necessary to prove the filiatory link?
-DNI / MINOR PASSPORT.
-DNI OF THE LEGAL REPRESENTATIVE.
-MARRIAGE CERTIFICATE WITH BIRTH DATE OR DEGREE OF BIRTH OR BIRTH CERTIFICATE OR JUDICIAL ADVOCACY TESTIMONY.
-THE LINK CAN BE ACCREDITED THROUGH THE IDENTIFICATION OF THE MINOR, AS LONG AS IT CONTAINS THE NAME OF ITS LEGAL REPRESENTATIVES.
-IF YOU TRAVEL WITH A THIRD PERSON, IDENTIFICATION OF WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THE MINOR DURING THE JOURNEY AND CORRESPONDING AUTHORIZATION.
YOU MUST HAVE ORIGINAL AND PHOTOCOPY OF ALL THE DOCUMENTATION PRESENTED.
Viajes internacionales con menores:
Para ingresar a Chile o a Perú con un menor debe llevar el DNI tarjeta además de la partida de nacimiento en vigencia y certificada siempre y cuando viajen con ambos padres.
Si viaja un menor con uno solo de sus padres el trámite a realizar es presentar una nota certificada por escribano publico autorizando el viaje del menor por parte del padre o tutor faltante.
Si viaja un menor con un tercero mayor de edad el trámite a realizar es presentar una nota certificada por escribano publico autorizando el viaje del menor por parte de ambos padres o tutores.
Student Tourism
For student or graduate trips, the authorizations requested by the travel agencies authorized for such purpose will be valid.
